actually I hadn't thought of that approach ... 't would work but I'm sorta over bargellos ... I was seeing more a freehand cut curves with maybe some really teeny tiny strip piecing across some of them to look like the fractured quartz seam
Ohhkay ... personally I think I'm very conventional and hopelessly middle class. I wish I was more of a risk taker sometimes but hey... I yam what I yam.
Walking the fine line between creativity and obsession on my 10 acres of bushland. I share my life with my severely autistic son, and also my daugher and son-in-law, 4 cats and 4 goats, a very small dog who apparently thinks he's a Rottweiler ... or a cat ... and a collection of fabrics and fibres that can be seen from space.

Those are great shots! I'm always seeing patterns I wish I could duplicate. Sadly, my quilting skills are, shall we say, "limited" :)
funky. could see that last one done as a bargello

Fi asked (stated?) last night, 'Your mum was a hippy wasnt she?'
Was?
Told her not in the full on woodstock sence, but yes, definate bohemian tendancies :D
no ... more a hippy wannabe
She meant more in terms of dress and in not being one to follow the crowd
meant to be taken as a compliment of course
