Certain members of my extended family would probably tell you that I lost any slender grip I may once have had on reality a very long time ago.
I'm beginning to agree with them.
I'm fairly certain that it's a sign of pending insanity when one finds oneself idly contemplating how long it will be before the drum carder arrives and the resultant possibilities for spinning the hair of the large and fluffy feline:

Cool! Brilliant!
Just think how many people out there - women in particular - love cats. Oh, they may think alpaca or mohair is wonderful fiber, but when they stroke a skein of your yarn and see a photo of the feline who contributed, they'll be smitten. I'd say you have a sure-fire niche market.
Plus, just think of all the cats there are out there, shedding fur and driving their humans nuts. If you combined the yarn-spinning business with a cat-grooming business, in which you visit cats and remove excess hair, you'd have a double-header.
Okay, I'll go away and be quiet now.
lol! A word to the wise...cat fur FELTS! Ask me how I know. I have also spun seaweed. And, my sanity is intact! :-)
What a brilliant photo! I'd rather look at that than count sheep when I can't sleep.
Thanks for visiting my blog and the nice remarks you left about Menkaure Susan. Maybe we can meet one day when you are at PP!
