It's just as well ...

that I took these photos yesterday of both the white

and the yellow

Banksia roses, even though they hadn't quite reached their full Spring potential -
because not long after I took these pics, the onset of strong winds and rain ensured that I will need to wait until this time next year to see them at their best

YUMMY.... I had a yellow one and pulled it out instead of severely pruning.....now I want a rambling Rector aka Alice...as well as my Banksia's back.
Could do without the wind and would like a bit more rain. Glad you got some.

So often a gardener gets about 10 minutes of pretty photo time!

Last Monday & Tuesday we had winds gusting to 50 and 60 mph (about 80-96 kph) and rain all week, so everything that wasn't holding on tight blew away.

The blooms on our white bansia roses finished a couple of weeks ago - the strong winds made sure of it!

I love both the white and the yellow Banksia Roses, and now I want someone to breed a pink one.

Next time the Rambling Rector catches me with its thorns I'll despatch it post haste to ozjane!

Good think you got the shot! That often happens here with the autumn colors. One good rainy wind and they're all gone
