What would you have done?

Today was a glorious Spring day. Pleasant.Mild. Sunny. PERFECT.
David was well enough to attend his day placement, so after a quick cuppa in town, I headed out for Fryerstown and a dance class. Back home just after midday, there was a modicum of goat wrangling, some pulling of the bloody Cape Weed, and then when I probably should've been working on the quilt, there came a siren song from the general direction of not-the-sewing-room.
Lunch and a nice cup of Earl Grey

so I ask you... What would you have done?

That's what I thought :]

BTW Lisa has nominated me for the Rockin' Girl Blogger award. Not sure that I deserve it, being a totally sedate person of the grandmotherly persuasion [ what? am so! ] but I'm chuffed nonetheless. Now if I knew how to insert it in my template I could put the button over on the sidebar with my Nice Matters award which also isn't there. Nadie? Help!!

btw Blogger ate the photos again after them showing up perfectly okay for slightly more than a day. I'm reloading them . I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. Anyone know what's happening?

I would gather that she means rockin' as in "young and with it" and not the "granny in the rocking chair"!
Garden looks beautiful - perfect excuse to sit and enjoy! (with an earl grey or two, I would assume!)

A beautiful Spring day deserves to be dealt with in just that fashion. No guilty feelings, please.

I would have done exactly what you did...sometimes you don't really have much of a choice in the matter!

And you do rock...you really, really do!!!

Know what you mean - got no idea how to do mine either! Never waste a nice day by actually doing anything - just sit and enjoy it!

Re: putting your awards in the sidebar - Goto manage: layout from the dashboard page or template/ page elements. Click 'add a page element' in the sidebar section and 'picture'. You can leave the title and caption blank if you just want the pic on its own. Once you've saved it you can drag the different page elements around into the order you want.

Your feline company looks like there's a question lingering in the air, "Where's my cup and saucer of warm milk? Where's my lunch on that table? How come you didn't knit a kitty cushion for this hard chair over here?"

there's a quilted cushion against the back of the chair Diane, question is why catsslave didn't place it in the proper position for sitting on.

mum, its about time you upgraded your blogger account. Trust me it's more user friendly.

I feel just that way about our perfect fall weather. Who knows how long it will last before it turns grey and cold and rainy? Enjoy the day while you can! No guilt, no regrets. All of the other stuff will be waiting for you...
