Donedonedonedonedone

finished
finito
and foreshortened because I was standing on the table :]
started august 28th, finished about half an hour ago
...we will not speak of the insanity that prompted me to take off the entire wavy outer border yesterday and to reattach it.
I think there will be a period of mindless Christmas stuff now

Fantastic balance and use of colour. The centre is perfect [and almost 3-dimensional].
I've recently ordered Yoshiko Jinzenji's 'Simple Quilt" book. Have you seen it?

Well done! Another fantastic quilt!
I like how you changed the corners, it (corner) looks really good from a bit of distance.

and all mine :)

speaking of Christmas stuff, did I tell you that some of the ornaments the cats stole off the tree last year just turned up behind the sofa bed?

BLOODY BRILLIANT! Well done, you! (I'm too tired to give a good critique - so I'll just say I LOVE it!)

Love it! It is just beautiful!

BTW, I think I'm going crazy knitting that little sweater! I had knit quite a bit on it...but it wasn't working - so, I ripped it back and started over and figured it out! I may be asking for help on it down the road!!

And a well-earned period of mindlessness it will be! Stunning!

Wow!!! You have certainly earned a little mindless Christmas project-time! That is really amazing. The colors work together beautifully and I love the way the border seems to almost blend towards the edges. It looks kind of like a halo!

Congratulations! It's marvelous. I love the solution you arrived at for the corners.

And now, yes, by all means bring on the mindlessness!
