No kidding!

Turns out that the title of the last post was a little bit too accurate. I've been as sick as the proverbial pooch since Thursday :really appalling migraine of the tossing up my toes variety. Couldn't even keep a teaspoon of water down for long enough to take the migraine meds until Saturday :[
I had to call friend Robyn to pick David up on Friday and she willingly drove 15km, arrived with a bunch of flowers, took one look at me and packed him back in the car for a trip to Bendigo. He was delivered back home 3 hours later with half a BBQ chicken for his dinner. Now THAT'S what I call a friend!
So I'm rather glad that Ms Rosie waited until tonight to go into labour. It's early hours yet. In fact about the only sign is a lot of very soft bleating. She probably won't actually get to the business end until about 4 am but there's no point in trying to go to bed. I'm the world's worst sleeper at the best of times, so the fact that I've been up since 5 this morning makes no nevermind.
So long as this isn't a false alarm.
ETA:
which apparently it was - after a largely sleepless night no babies so far. Maybe she was just complaining about the rain,
I'm fine ...just a little fuzzy around the edges... and it will totally be worth it once we have kids. Everyone keep fingers and toes crossed for a safe delivery please as this is the first time for both Rosie and moi :] Shee-it I wasn't this nervous when the grandpeanut was due. Maybe because there were people around who knew what the flipping heck they were doing.

Was it only migraine? Should you have gone to the Doctors? Have you rung Robyn? Is it raining?....what? Well I suppose it would help if it wasn't raining. Have you got the boiled water and towels ready? My god, what is this? Please help me? ?????!!!!..........okay I will try to calm down.. I hope you are too! Fingers crossed everything goes well.

Not sure if it was 'just' migraine or a reaction to the new BP meds I got prescribed Thursday morning. Didn't take them today - will check with Dr later
calm down Maz :]
Nadie's here to help - in fact she's helping at the moment by sleeping! and no it's not rainig - that was around teatime. It's quite a mild night thank goodness. Currently 13 degrees at 1.30am. Positively balmy.
btw you never stay up this late when you're up here but ther've been a lot of post midnight comments from you lately.

Oh dear! That sounds pretty wretched...I'm glad to hear that you were able to get the meds down eventually and had someone to help out with David. I imagine that it takes a while to get past it all, though.

Good luck to Rosie as she comes closer to mommyhood! How exciting!!! Give her my love and I'll think positive thoughts for a happy, healthy kid.

I'm sorry to hear you weren't feeling well...hope it isn't the new meds...it's awful hard to get meds adjusted, isn't it!

Oh, my; are you going to help tend Rosie's birth? I find the idea rather intimidating. On the other hand, I suppose animals have been giving birth since ... well, since there've been animals. They're probably pretty good at it. Good luck, nevertheless.

people have been giving birth since forever too, but things have also been going wrong since forever, for both people and animals. Mainly keeping an eye on things in case Rosie needs assistance and keeping fingers crossed that she manages, in which case mum's role is to clean up and cut the cord.

She produced 4.25 litres (over a gallon)of milk this morning! Running out of places to put it all.
