My mother is a sick, sick woman

by Ms Sophie
Just because some well-known american Blogger decides to have a competition that involves
making a cat sweater and then forcing your poor innocent moggie to model it, my rotten excuse for a mother thinks it's okay to do things like this.
The contest was only announced this morning but did that stop the mad woman...oooh no... she had me into the Tea-Shirt before I even realised what she was up to.
Honestly.
It's Oakley's job to do these sort of things, isn't it? Still I guess I can't blame her too much . She DID have to choose the most attractive resident feline to model her creation after all.

Like the santa hats and bunny ears weren't enough! The look on her face says it all.

Sophie, you are far too patient. My Nelly would never consent to wear a cat jumper, even if was made of the finest cashmere...

AIIIII!!!! HOWL! Oh, my lord. I can't stop laughing to breathe. Poor kitty. The outfit's very flattering, though.

Um, so how did you get Sophie into the garment? Did you have to tranquilize her? Did you have to wear heavy duty shoulder-length gloves?

Sophie! You're gorgeous! Quit your whining! You're lucky to have a mom to knit for you. (She's too scared of Caramel, huh? I'll bet!)

Absolutely! No way in hell would I try that with caramel.
Sophie just sat there and let me do it.

Oh, my! That is disturbing on so very many levels. And yet I am not deterred in the least from trying to find sweaters for my Big, Fluffy Kitty after seeing Sophie model hers! Tee-hee!!!

I, too, came over here from CAP to see if you'd really done it - unbelievable! I'm thinking I'll have to cat nip my cat to get close :)

Oh my, I had a mouth full of hot tea when I read your post! OH MY!!!
What I want to know, is did you SEDATE the puss to get the jumper on???? Cosmopolitan would NEVER agree to anything, no matter how fetching, to be put on his back! I'd have proof of this, from the mile long claw marks on my arm!! I made him a cape (a super hero cat one - think superman but SC instead of the 'S') about two months ago, and did he like it? UM nope! has the cape been seen again? UM nope.. disappeared into the bowels of the house!
hahahaha still laughing here your cat is too patient!

Sophie,
You need to remind Susan , she is your slave and slaves should get permission before doing anything to one.
My slave wouldn't dare do that to me.

Sophie you need to bite, scratch and claw your way out of that coat. Don't let that human push you around girl!!!!

Well Sophie you have the perfect look of total disgust.
Your larger sistertwin supports you and says, 'her Mother would never do a thing like that"

Mum often used to talk about a friend from years before who used to try all her baby clothes on the cat to make sure they would fit over the baby's head.

Riiight. I've seen jumpers on lots of things but never on a pussy cat. Madam does not look impressed! :-)

Oh, my. The look on her face.
Did she just sit there, too shocked and horrified to move, until you removed it? Or did she explode into offended/offensive action milliseconds after you took the picture?

That cat looks very - ummm - cross - remember - as a cat's manager - this sort of behaviour is frowned upon!! (Great photo - hope you win!)
