There aren't many things that scare me...but Daleks are really quite terrifying! I have no idea why. It's a trash can rolling around stating the obvious, for heaven's sake! But I really wouldn't want to find one of them at my door!

I suppose that's the brilliance of the show, right? Love it!!

I have a fear of clowns now they almost seem warm and fuzzy compared to robots. Really cool video though....Bernies

Really great! Did you know there is a pattern on Ravelry only for Roses wristwarmers? I'm halfway through the second one.

All fans at this place. Memorabilia, an old but good Dr Who pinball machine with Daleks, and a bottle opener in the shape of a Dalek. When contact is made with bottle cap, as it comes off the opener says, "Exterminate! Exterminate."

Oh yes Jan, I've had the Rose's Wristwarmers queued ever since I first saw them, but unfortunately DD doesn't want a pair so I may just have to make 'em for myself.Wouldn't THAT be tragic?? LOL
There's also crochet patterns on Ravelry for a wee little amigurumi version of Chris Eccleston's Doctor and also David Tennant's as well ... and a Rose but it's not quite as sucessful in nailing the essence of the character. Then there's the 'Extermeknit' knitted Dalek and from memory there's a crochet Tardis too.
