A new definition

Today saw us - finally - at THE Australian Wool & Sheep Show at Spendigo.
You probably don't remember but I didn't manage to get there last year so was doubly eager in the run up this week:

We came
We saw
We purchased

veni vidi visa
and then, less than half an hour after I got home, #1 son rang and suggested that new grandson Noah could do with a sheepskin

A new definition of poor timing ?

I think you were very restrained!

The beret that DrK was wearing is the RoseRed pattern by Ysolda. Fitting, yes?!

Excuse my ignorance - what's that green thingie with the handles and the wheel?

I was wondering if anyone would ask, Erica :) - it's a very lightweight but sturdy garden trolley with lift-out plastic tub. Not super cheap @ $80 but reasonable I thought and I would imagine it will get lots of use around here as a wheelbarrow substitute - garden, wood, goat feed ??

I was going to ask about the wheelie-bucket, too...
Such pretties you found - love the purple, and that spindle just begs to be twirled.

Very well done......
I like the possibilities of "dat green fing"
You lead my mind back to when my lamb skin was an essential car seat cover.
I am not quite sure if it resides in the bottom of the linen press...we did the top three shelves recently...or it has gone.....
I still have a wonderful sheep skin hat with bobbles ...balls of sheep skin to tie it with.
And Moggie has a small piece of sheep skin somewhere.
Moggie says..is Sister Sophie OK?

Pretty Knitting Nancy - does that mean you are actually going to do some spool knitting? If so, I have lots of ideas.

what projects do you have in mind for the beautiful purple wool

Joy, I've already cast on a Forest Canopy shawl [ last night in fact - LOL ] possibly for DD's wedding in October

I'm disappointed... I imagined it was equipment to do some obscure thing with wool! Haha.
