Ethel's Identity Crisis

It appears that I have a new addition to my goat herd.
She is a very small black and white goat
... with feathers

Yes m'dears, since poor Fred's presumed demise at the hands ... err ... paws ... of Mr Fox, Ms Ethel-the-Bereaved has decided that she is now, in point of fact, a member of the genus Capra Hircus, and as such she spends a large portion of her time bonding with the caprine contingent.

Poor little Ethel. Would you ever consider getting another of her kind or is Fred irreplaceable? If she starts baa baaing, you might really reconsider!

I see an airconditioner.
I see a fence around it.....getting done soon...
I hear it going in summer....
Get to it woman......think of the cats.

Poor Ethel. At least the goats look tolerant.

I agree with Marcy, when Ethel has finished grieving then you should find her a companion, in the meantime the goats can support her through her horrible time.
Have a wonderful day Susan and may you get many hugs....:-)

Ethel thanks you all for your sympathy :]
... and she doesn't know it yet, but there are two young would-be companions on order [ just don't know yet whether or not whether or they are boys ]

Maybe she's trying to blend in with the goats in hopes of confusing Mr. Fox.

Here I am, just another goat . . . ?

Poor Ethel.

Birds in general are fairly intelligent, social creatures. I'm glad she has had the good sense to seek company.
