I just read the post on acceptance. Since I work in Community Mental Health, I hear people often bemoan their fate and stop moving forward "because it's too hard". I agree with your take. Bad, terrible, things happen to everyone and no, it's not fair but that's life. You can decide to deal with it and move on or you can let it completely flummmox you and stop your life. I choose to move forward.
