I'm chook-sitting the three red headed floozies for PND and Brenda


and they [ the chooks ] have been rewarding my devoted care and attention with one beautiful fresh brown egg every day
David comes with me for the walk and then ever sooooooo carefully - almost on tiptoe - back down the hill with his precious eggy cargo

and one less item on the grocery list for the week

    There is nothing better than fresh eggs. Except for fresh, brown eggs. I don't care what anyone says. The brown ones are better. Enjoy!

    We've just come from down the road picking up a carton of eggs (and carefully not hitting the chickens in the drive as we drove out to the road!)
