This sunflower one was made go-to-whoa in the 2 weeks immediately after Marc's illness was diagnosed and we were trying to think positively

Today would've been his 60th birthday, but in my mind he's still a very young looking 49.
Not all stories have happy endings
but life continues on

This last quilt is titled "Rise Above' but the whole quote is" Rise above the clouds and you will find the sun"
Such a gorgeous collection! You should really have a Retrospective Exhibition...
ReplyDeleteYou have so many lovely quilts. I really love the purple and green one but they would all look great on my walls ;)
ReplyDeleteSorry about your not so happy story ending :( Your quilt is a beautiful way to remember
You are amazing. Those are so beautiful, they take my breath away.
ReplyDeleteI second the exhibition idea.
They are such beautiful and imaginative quilts.....their beauty matched by your wonderful memories of Marc.
ReplyDeleteInspirational.
ReplyDeleteWow, another set of beautiful quilts...my mom would love the sunflower one and I think the orange sun is very striking, but they are all so lovely - it's difficult to pick a favorite. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteI think you should have a proper solo show, my dear! Lovely work, and reflecting a lot of skill and growth.
ReplyDeleteI love all your quilts, especially "Rise Above." Beautiful, beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteSome lovely quilts there, Susan. Thanks for sharing (even if I am nine months late for the show!)
ReplyDeleteGreat blog thanks for posting this.
